Rey Fenix makes another statement accusing AEW of mistreatment.
The superstar luchador previously wrote on X(formerly known as Twitter) “no one stays in a place where they received inhumane treatment,” a serious claim considering he is still under his AEW contract due to injury time being added to his deal. His brother, Penta El Zero Miedo, is currently a free agent and is expected to begin a solo run with WWE as he waits for Fenix to get out of contract purgatory in AEW.
On Monday, December 9th, Fenix tweeted, “I needed a doctor and you ignored me for months.” This claim is also quite serious, and if true, is similar to what happened with CM Punk during his WWE exit back in 2014. Fenix has not been seen on AEW programming since July. Whether this latest tweet was an attempt to speak the truth, or get himself fired by Tony Khan, remains to be seen.
