Former WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley disrupted the contract signing between reigning champ IYO Sky and Elimination Chamber winner Bianca Belair, first showing up to watch the situation unfold then getting into a verbal confrontation with Belair before things took a physical turn with Ripley laying Belair across a table and then powerbombing Sky onto her. The segment ended with Ripley signing her name on the WrestleMania contract. GM Adam Pearce look perplexed as the commentators noted that this is not official.
Later on in the show, Ripley did give the contract back to Pearce but demanded to be included in the WrestleMania match. Fightfulselect.com reports that the plan is for the match to be a triple threat for the Women’s title and that Ripley and Belair have been penciled into work together at WrestleMania dating back many months.
