In a new interview with Ric Flair, TMZ Sports reports that the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer had his pacemaker replaced in the recent health scare he experienced earlier this month.
As a result, “The Nature Boy” claims that he expects to live another 25 years.
The routine procedure also enabled doctors to get rid of a blood clot they found, which is likely what complicated matters further.
“This is the 4th time I’ve been in in 7 weeks,” Flair told TMZ Sports. “They finally figured out what type of pacemaker to put on me, which I found out just how important the operation of your heart is. You can’t breathe if your hearts not working.”
Flair added, “I stayed for 48-hours [after surgery] just to make sure, because we’ve been trying everything. We finally got behind it and I think I’m good to go.”
The pro wrestling legend concluded, “I feel great. The prognosis is I could live to be 95.”
