Even Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is excited about the big news coming from the MMA world over the weekend.
The future WWE Hall Of Famer and Hollywood A-list star took to social media on Monday to comment about the news that UFC has booked Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal in a fight for what they claim will be the brand new, “B.M.F.” title.
Yes, just like in the WWE Universe from the old “Attitude Era” with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and his “B.M.F.” ring-walk, vest, etc., it stands for “Bad Mother F*cker.”
The Diaz-Masvidal fight was announced for UFC 244 on November 2nd at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
After the fight was announced, Masvidal noted that he wanted The Rock to wrap the “B.M.F.” title around his waist if-and-when he beats the Stockton, California native at the 11/2 PPV bout.
The Rock chimed in on his official Twitter page today to respond to the rising UFC mega-star, who comes fresh off of his shocking flying knee knockout victory over Ben Askren in his last Octagon outing.
“Doing all I can to make this fight,” wrote The Rock. “If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done.”
Johnson added, “Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in UFC history. Can’t wait.”
