Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has co-signed on Drew McIntyre being WWE’s next big Superstar.

In a short interview with TMZ, The Rock was asked about who — in his opinion — is the next big superstar like himself, John Cena, etc. in WWE.

After hesitating, the Rock said he’s not too sure but a lot of guys are working hard and he mentioned that he discussed with Roman Reigns about guys with potential.

The Rock then went on to name Drew McIntyre as a personal favorite who has a good look and a good build.

“Let’s see… you know, not quite too sure,” said The Rock. “I just know that a lot of guys obviously are working very hard. I spent a lot of time with Roman just now, spent the past week with him and we were talking about everybody who has potential and who doesn’t.”

The Rock continued, “Personally I like Drew McIntyre. I think he’s got a great look and a great build, and especially as he continues to hone in on his craft and connect with the audience, which is always the most important thing. That’s it.”

McIntyre appreciated the compliment and responded with his own comments on Twitter.

“In all the conversation about the biggest movie of the Summer, I appreciate such high praise from The Great One,” wrote McIntyre. “We could all learn a thing or two from his work ethic: ‘All it takes is all you got,’ #HobbsAndShaw.”
