The Rock Turns Down "The Viper's" WrestleMania Challenge (10/7/2019)

The Rock Turns Down Randy Orton’s Challenge For Match At WrestleMania 36

It looks like The Rock has officially turned down the formal challenge issued to him by fellow WWE legend “The Viper” Randy Orton for a match at WrestleMania 36.

Over the weekend, former 14-time world champion Randy Orton issued a WrestleMania 36 challenge to the Rock following the Great One’s appearance on the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. Orton tried to sell the match as a showdown of two “third-generation” superstars fighting for their families legacy. Last night, the Rock responded, claiming that he is still recovering from a WrestleMania 20 beatdown given to him by Orton’s faction Evolution.

U think Bob O Sr & Chief Maivia along with our pops’ Bob Jr & the Soulman ran up and down those roads for decades taking bumps just so we can sell out WM36 so you can RKO my ass thru the earth. My body’s still recovering from that Evolution beatdown you gave me at WM20.

Orton wrote back, “My man, so I guess that’s a no.” Social Media Interaction
