During a recent media call to promote Friday’s ROH: Best in the World pay-per-view in Baltimore, Maryland, ROH executive Joe Koff spoke about the promotion’s long-term goals for the ROH Dojo.
“I’d like to look ten years ahead but I think we’ll just focus on the next twelve to eighteen months,” said Koff. “What I’m hoping for what our expectation is identifying talent that we can bring pretty quickly to over the air TV or our digital network.”
Koff then spoke about how some matches will be made available via the Honor Club subscription service, as well as their YouTube channel with greener talents being featured. As he explained, this will give exposure to all talents that work with the company.
“We’re just looking to just bring talent through,” said Koff. “Identify them from their local promotions or other places give them training and give them the opportunities. Understand the Ring Of Honor brand, understand the Ring Of Honor style so they get better before they’re seen in the bigger matches on TV or pay-per-view.”
ROH: Best in the World 2018 emanates from the UMBC Events Center in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, June 29th, airing live on pay-per-view and via the Honor Club service.
