When fisticuffs start flying, everything stops and watches.
Even “The Head of the Table.”
At the WWE live event in Johnson City, Tennessee on Saturday evening, “The Tribal Chief” was cutting an intense promo when a brawl broke out in the front row directly in front of him.
According to eye-witness accounts from correspondents in attendance at the non-televised live event this past weekend, the fight started when the aisle was being cleared and a fan became engaged in a physical altercation with security personnel.
The scuffle became so wild that enough of the crowd was no longer paying attention to the WWE Universal Champion, instead turning their focus to the fight taking place in front of them in the crowd.
As a result, Reigns presumably felt obligated to address what was happening, which you can see below in the footage of this incident that surfaced on social media a couple of days after the house show took place.
Once the situation was resolved, which was just a couple of moments later, the scheduled WrestleMania 38 headline performer continued on with his scheduled in-ring segment, which ultimately led to him successfully defending his WWE Universal Championship by earning a victory over Drew McIntyre.
