After a roller coaster last two weeks in which he was told he was going to be leaving WWE before being brought back after a major online and in-person backlash, Ron Killings has dropped the R-Truth personal and is back as his real self.
Killings took to social media to thank the fans for their role in reversing WWE’s decision but he also thanked WWE CCO Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan for allowing R-Truth to set him free.
Killings returned at WWE Money in the Bank as a masked mystery man before attacking John Cena and unveiling himself. He then appeared on last night’s WWE Raw and promptly announced that he would be no longer be known as R-Truth but rather would be moving forward under his real name. Killings also stamped that decision by cutting off his dreadlocks on the show.
This follows a tumultuous week in which he went public with his exit from WWE before fans and wrestlers expressed disbelief forcing WWE’s hand to bring him back. It was reported that Killings was ghosting WWE in their attempts to re-negotiate and the only way he listened to what they had to say was due to the involvement of Khan, who usually does not engage himself in contract negotiations. Killings tweet would seemingly confirm that.
How? = YOU… Yall brought me back!!They heard, listened, felt, and understood. Thank you @TripleH👈🏾 @WWE and man… thank you Nick Khan for allowing R-Truth to set me free!!! Im driving now…I AM Ron KILLINGS I AM THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, Now put some…
