It appears that the WWE Universe may have bid farewell to “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” for the foreseeable future.
Ronda Rousey has been actively promoting her upcoming memoir, “Ronda Rousey: Our Fight,” set to hit shelves on April 4, 2024, through various media appearances.
During her recent interview on “Never Been Told” to discuss her book, the former WWE Superstar and UFC Hall of Fame legend didn’t mince words about her experiences behind the scenes at WWE, describing it as a “chaotic mess.”
Reflecting on her time in WWE, Rousey candidly expressed, “Behind the scenes? It’s an absolute chaotic mess at WWE because they can’t control my narrative and hold my career hostage. I’m not dependent on them, and I have no intentions of returning, so I can speak my mind freely while others are bound by their contractual obligations.”
When questioned about whether she held back any opinions in her book, Rousey confessed that she had initially planned to be more critical, particularly towards Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis.
“I wanted to unleash more criticism, especially towards John Laurinaitis and Bruce Prichard, but we were constrained by the word count contractually,” Rousey explained. “We were limited to 90,000 words, so I had to prioritize and couldn’t veer off too much into criticizing these old figures. There’s so much more I wanted to address, but I had to focus on the essentials.”
