Ronda Rousey Takes Credit For WrestleMania 35 Main Event, Triple H Comments On News

Following the announcement by WWE on Monday morning that women will be headlining WrestleMania for the first-time ever this year, as the RAW Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair close the show at WrestleMania 35 next month.

Soon after the announcement was made by WWE, Charlotte Flair commented on the news. A few minutes later, Becky Lynch shared her thoughts.

In an update, the third member of the bout, reigning RAW Women’s Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey has taken to Twitter to take credit for the match closing the show this year.

“I came. I saw. I changed the game,” wrote Rousey via her official Twitter page. “Three women are going to headline [WrestleMania] this year.”

Rousey added, “I won’t hold my breath expecting any thank yous, but you’re all welcome anyway. #MRSwrestlemania.”

In addition to Rousey, Lynch and Charlotte, WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque chimed in to comment on the news.

“The main event of [WrestleMania]. For all the dreams, the hopes, the struggles, the work,” wrote Triple H of the ladies making history this year. “Where they belong. Where they deserve to be. Congratulations. #EarnedNotGiven”
