- On today’s Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that the plan is still for Randy Orton to challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 33, but it remains unclear exactly how the booking will get the two there.
- Alvarez went onto speculate that what he could see happening is that in the AJ Styles vs. Luke Harper match, Styles will come out on top and get the supposed title match at WrestleMania. Meanwhile, Orton will eventually have a change of heart, turn on Wyatt, and demand his shot instead as the Royal Rumble winner. Shane McMahon will to step in and award the title shot to Orton, angering Styles, which will then help set the stage for Shane vs. AJ at WrestleMania.
