— After comments in the past where he said he wanted to “rape” Sasha Banks came to light, AEW’s Sammy Guevara tweeted an apology to the WWE superstar:
I’ve made stupid, inappropriate and extremely offensive comments in my past. In my idiotic mind, I thought I was being funny in using words and terms that represent nothing but horror and pain. I am truly sorry for my hurtful words and actions, and I will never forgive myself.

— Unfortunately, the apology didn’t help his status with AEW as the company announced that they were suspending him indefinitely and that he has to undergo sensitivity training. During his suspension, he will not be paid with his salary going towards the Women’s Center of Jacksonville. His status with AEW will be re-evaluated upon completion of the training.
