Samoa Joe Suffers Head Injury During RAW

Samoa Joe Suffers Head Injury At RAW, WWE Forced To Change Scripted Plans During Show

Much like the situation that saw AJ Styles’ shoulder injury from an Edge spear in the Men’s Rumble match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view cause live changes to be made, a head injury Samoa Joe suffered on WWE RAW caused a lot of significant plans in the script to be changed on-the-fly during the live broadcast on Monday night.

The report making the rounds is that Joe suffered some sort of a head injury during his match last night on RAW and as a result, was pulled from the scheduled tag-team match in an off-the-cuff call made by WWE officials live on the air after the Superstar was examined by their medical team.

It is said that the decision to remove Joe was made by doctors and was not part of the script, causing the remaining participants to finish the match with changes being called live in the ring on-the-fly.

While Joe was examined by WWE doctors to determine the severity of the injury backstage at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas during WWE RAW on Monday night, no information has surfaced yet regarding his physical condition or the extent of the head injury he sustained.

We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as additional details continue to come in regarding the severity of Samoa Joe’s head injury, as well as how the situation affects WWE’s plans!
