Samoa Joe is beginning a 30-day suspension handed down to him for violating the company’s WWE Wellness Policy.
It marks the first offense for the WWE veteran.
WWE posted the following announcement to formally address the situation.
It’s interesting in that several weeks ago, it was reported by the WrestleVotes account that Joe was going to get suspended but nothing happened and the account even apologized.
It looks like it was true after all.
STAMFORD, CONN., February 25, 2020 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
