Could a member of SAnitY be parting ways with WWE this week?
WWE Superstar Alexander Wolfe posted an interesting statement on social media on Tuesday evening following the apparent disbandment of the four-person faction in the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up (Full List Of Talent Trades Here).
As noted, SAnitY group member Eric Young was traded to the RAW brand in night one of the WWE draft lottery on Monday night. With Young no longer on the same brand as Killain Dain, Nikki Cross and Wolfe, it would appear that the run of the faction has come to an end.
In addition to the initial tweets from Wolfe and Dain that we posted on Tuesday, Wolfe checked in after night two of the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up with an even more interesting statement.
“We (SAnitY) made our TV debut [in] October 2016 for NXT at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.,” wrote Wolfe in a tweet posted on Tuesday evening. “We had a great time in NXT and we accomplished a lot.”
Dain would go on to list several of the accomplishments that the faction achieved over the years before continuing with his “goodbye” message to the group.
“The whole group is like a family to me,” Wolfe added. “I made 3 good friends over the last 3 years and I am really grateful for that. It was without a doubt a great time. Thank you guys for everything!”
From there, Wolfe started thanking the SmackDown Live locker room, the fans and WWE in general.
“Thank you to the entire [SmackDown Live] locker room,” wrote Wolfe. “Thank you for the good vibes, laughs and wisdom. I appreciate all of you and I wish you all the best for your future careers. Thank you to the fans who supported us and never stopped believing in us. I appreciate you as well and trust me, I speak for all 4 of us.”
The final sentence in the statement is what has the WWE Universe buzzing and fans speculating that Wolfe could be parting ways with WWE altogether.
“It’s time to leave this behind and walk a different path,” Wolfe concluded.
Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net wrote about the tweet, “It appears Wolfe is leaving WWE based on the goodbye to WWE.”
