Longtime WWE referee Scott Armstrong took to social media on Wednesday to announce the funeral arrangements for his mother, Gail Vida James, who passed away this past Sunday morning.
Armstrong, along with his brother, WWE producer and Hall Of Fame member as part of the D-Generation X faction, “Road Dogg” Brian G. James posted statements regarding the passing of their mother.
Gail Vida James was the wife of their father, WWE Hall Of Fame legend “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, and matriarch of the legendary Armstrong Wrestling Family that includes “Bullet” Bob, Brian, Scott, Brad and Steve Armstrong.
In addition to the funeral information, which you can see below via the tweet embedded from Scott Armstrong’s official Twitter page, the longtime WWE official posted another statement thanking the pro wrestling fans for sending their “loving thoughts and prayers.”
“The James/Armstrong Family would like to thank everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” Scott wrote on Wednesday. “For those who have inquired about our Mother’s arrangements we also say THANK YOU!”
