It looks like Scott Dawson caused some confusion when making a “cryptic tweet” on social media over the weekend.
The Revival member took to his Twitter page on Sunday to address his fans following more reports of their ongoing contract negotiations with WWE.
“Guys, it’s time to go away for a while until we get everything figured out,” wrote Dawson over the weekend. “See ya soon.”
The tweet had some under the impression that he was referring to “going away” from WWE “for a while until everything is sorted out,” when he was actually referring to taking a hiatus from social media until the negotiations are completed one way or the other.
“I’ve had many friends [and] fans ask me about this,” Dawson wrote in a follow-up tweet elaborating on the previous “cryptic tweet” from Sunday. “I should’ve clarified, I’m taking a break from social media.”
He added, “I apologize for that vague tweet, but I do appreciate EVERYONE’S support. Everything I do is for my family. I only want the best for them. They’re my #1. Thank you.”
