Apparently a pair of WWE Superstars and a well-known AEW duo met up this week when WWE came to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Friday evening for their WWE Friday Night SmackDown On FOX broadcast and NXT On USA taping.
An interesting new photo featuring WWE and AEW stars The Revival (Scott Dawson, Dash Wilder) and Private Party (Marq Quen, Isiah Kassidy) hanging out together is making the rounds on social media after Dawson shared the picture on his official Twitter page (@ScottDawsonWWE) this weekend.
Quen and Kassidy, who have emerged as a pair of talents that have quickly made a name for themselves in All Elite Wrestling through their work in the AEW tag-team division on AEW Dynamite and AEW pay-per-view events in 2019, are from the Brooklyn-area where Friday’s WWE TV taping was held.
The Revival tag-team member shared the photo on Saturday morning with a caption that read, “Tag Team Wrestling.”
It’s worth noting that The Revival are being transitioned into a comedy tag-team according to a recent report by Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com, and that Dawson and Wilder have yet to sign new contracts with WWE. Their current deals are rumored to expire shortly after WrestleMania 36 next April.
Both members of The Revival are down to the last months of their WWE contracts and haven’t agreed to new deals despite reportedly being offered “lucrative new deals” by the company.
While they haven’t been as outspoken in recent weeks, the two have been dropping hints throughout the year regarding the possibility of them making the jump from WWE to AEW when their current contracts run up.
