Sean Waltman Comments On Meeting With Orthopedic Surgeon On Monday To Schedule Important Surgeries

WWE Hall Of Fame legend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman will be traveling to meet with his orthopedic surgeon on Monday to schedule an ACL and meniscus operation he intends to finally undergo after needing the surgeries to repair the injuries he has dealt with for well over ten years.

On Thursday evening, the former member of D-Generation X (D-X) in WWE and the New World Order (nWo) in WCW took to social media to reveal the news, commenting about his plans to finally go under the knife for the aforementioned pair of surgeries he has long-needed.

“Meeting with my orthopedic surgeon on Monday to schedule ACL [and] meniscus surgery,” Waltman wrote in the first of a series of tweets shared on Thursday. “I need this done even if I don’t have another match.”

He continued, “It’s been this way since 2007. I just learned to work around it.. I could still work around it, but I want to be as close to 100% as possible if I’m going to have a few more matches.”

Shortly after making those comments, Waltman resurfaced to comment more about the situation in a response he posted to a tweet shared by WWE producer and former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce.

“It’s the only time I’ve ever not been able to finish a match where I wasn’t knocked out cold,” Waltman said in response to Pearce’s tweet, which featured the WWE behind-the-scenes executive commenting about his own issues with the same injuries, and how they turned up in a match he was having years ago. “Same block the hip-toss, backflip spot I did [with you and] others 1000 times.”
