Seth Rollins & Will Ospreay Twitter War (6/24/2019)

Seth Rollins Says Ricochet Is A Better Version Of Will Ospreay, Blasts NJPW Star On Twitter

Lately, when “The Architect” takes to social media, it results in new headlines.

Seth Rollins’ latest visit to Twitter late last week and over the weekend was no different.

On Saturday, Rollins posted a comment that stirred up a lot of responses, leading to him posting another tweet that really got things going.

“Best pro wrestling on the planet,” Rollins wrote via his official Twitter page on Saturday evening before “doubling down” the following evening with another tweet about the subject.

“See that Cruiserweight Triple Threat? And that’s just one night, one match amongst the many,” he wrote in the additional tweet. “Find anyone else alive who does what I do as well as I do it as often as I do it. Ya can’t.”

From there, things got interesting.

The reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Will Ospreay, entered the mix, leading to him getting slammed in a response by the reigning WWE Universal Champion.

“I’’m alive,” wrote Ospreay in response to the aforementioned Rollins tweet, leading Rollins to post a reply of his own to Ospreay.

“Ahhhh I’m sorry little guy,” wrote Rollins in response to Ospreay’s tweet. “We already have a better version of you here and he just won his first U.S. Title tonight (Congrats Ricochet).”

Rollins concluded, “Keep working hard though buddy!”

Ospreay would fire back with one final tweet, a meme from the U.K. version of The Office, which features actor / comedian Ricky Gervais as “David Brent” with a caption that reads, “Ooh, you’re hard.”
