Shane McMahon Reportedly Quietly Let Go By WWE

Shane McMahon has been in the news the past for all the wrong reasons – specifically for receiving significant backstage heat for the way he booked the Royal Rumble and buried his fellow co-producer, Jamie Noble. Shane was penciled in to matches at both Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania and according to f4wonline.com, those plans are now off the table and while no reason was given, it appears it is because of his behavior at the Rumble.

Ringside News is reporting that all members of the creative team have been told that there will be no future discussions on Shane moving forward and they have been directed to move onto other stories. In terms of the Royal Rumble, Shane reportedly caused a lot of “chaos” and even change things that Vince McMahon wanted, which has forced Vince to “quietly let him go”, which seems to suggest that Shane has been asked to leave and will not be around in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania. Ever since he has been back with the company, Shane hasn’t even held an official role outside of a contracted talent.
