Hit Row

Shane Strickland (aka Isaiah “Swerve” Scott) Claims Hit Row Generated $2 Million In 4 Months In NXT

Hit Row were big money-makers for WWE.

In the end, however, it didn’t seem to matter when the company made some emergency budget cuts to offset loses accumulated due to the change in business-structure as a result of the pandemic.

The NXT faction, which included Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis and B-Fab reportedly generated two million dollars during their run on the black-and-gold brand.

“Swerve” Scott, now working under the name Shane “Swerve” Strickland, took to social media on Wednesday to point out this statistic when commenting about himself and the rest of the Hit Row group being released from WWE back in early-November.

“Hit Row generated $2 million together JUST in NXT…#money,” wrote Strickland via Twitter.

This led to one particular fan replying to the tweet with a reminder that WWE also released “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, who generated a ton of revenue for the company.

“Bray was generating millions, too,” wrote the fan in response to the above comments from Strickland. “WWE cares about the money, not who makes it for them. So sad.”

Strickland would take to his Twitter page once more to fire back at the fan, responding, “We did that in four months….”
