Sol Ruca posted a video on social media earlier today, revealing that she is set to address her situation with the NXT Universe on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on CW.

NXT General Manager Ava then further clarified that due to “some unforeseen circumstances” that have come up, Roca wants to talk to the fans about it, also sharing that she would be by the wrestler’s side during the announcement. She teased that it is not something the audience will want to miss.

Ruca and tag team partner Zaria lost to WWE tag team champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on last Friday’s Smackdown. Towards the end of the match, Charlotte attacked Ruca’s knee and WWE later stated that Ruca suffered an injury the bout, promoting the following for tonight:

“NXT Women’s North American Champion and Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca will provide an update on the injury that she suffered on Friday Night SmackDown. Don’t miss Ruca’s update on WWE NXT live TONIGHT at 8e/7c on the CW Network.”

Depending on the update, it remains unclear whether the scheduled match between Roca and Blake Monroe at NXT Halloween Havoc on Saturday will still be happening or not.
