At the WWE SmackDown Live television taping on Tuesday afternoon in Glasgow, Scotland, a significant change was made to “Team SmackDown” for the “Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match” scheduled against Team RAW.
WWE shot an injury angle at the SmackDown Live tapings this afternoon to remove Baron Corbin from the blue brand team. Announced as his replacement, to the surprise of many, is the SmackDown Live Commissioner himself.
Shane McMahon will be filling in for Corbin, as he joins Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles to do battle against Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in the “Team SmackDown” vs. “Team RAW” Traditional 5-On-5 Elimination Match at this month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
