There was a fun surprise appearance by a pair of championship-level main roster WWE Superstars at Wednesday night’s NXT television tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
At the tapings, which covered the next three weeks of NXT TV shows on the WWE Network, the reigning WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions turned up.
The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (Sasha Banks & Bayley) made their return to their former stomping grounds of NXT for an emotional segment. The two spoke about their respective runs in the NXT brand before talking about how they now run all three brands, RAW, SmackDown Live and NXT, as they will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships on all three brands.
