Prior to the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV live special on the WWE Network on Saturday night, WWE taped a couple of matches inside the Barclays Center for future episodes of NXT TV.
As advertised, WWE U.K. Champion Pete Dunne defended his title against Zack Gibson. Also in action was Bianca Belair, who defeated Deonna Purrazzo in one-on-one action.
The Dunne-Gibson bout was a rematch from the WWE U.K. brand events in June at Royal Albert Hall in London, England. Dunne also retained the title in that match.
In addition to the pair of matches taped last night, this coming Wednesday’s episode of NXT TV on the WWE Network will also feature fallout from the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV with video packages and post-match interviews.
The next set of NXT TV tapings is scheduled to take place at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida next Thursday, August 23rd.
