Prior to the NXT TakeOver: XXV live special on the WWE Network on Saturday night, NXT taped a pair of matches inside the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut for this coming Wednesday night’s episode of NXT TV.
Keith Lee defeated Kona Reeves with his Ground Zero finisher. Lee apparently received a superstar reaction from the fans in Bridgeport when he made his ring entrance.
Additionally, Mia Yim beat Bianca Belair in one-on-one action. The finish saw Yim score the pin fall after hitting a rope-assisted Protect Ya Neck on Belair. The match was a little longer than the Lee-Reeves bout, but didn’t have as much energy from the crowd.
