The mother-in-law of Vince McMahon passed away last week.
Evelyn Edwards, the mother to former WWE CEO Linda McMahon and mother-in-law to current WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, died last week at age 93.
WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, the maternal granddaughter of Edwards, announced the news via social media on Thursday, sharing a photo of the two together along the following statement:
“Last week my 93 [year] old grandmother passed peacefully, surrounded by people who love her. One of the last things she said to me was, ‘Let there be love’. Love is what heals us all. To anyone who is hurting or struggling, I send my love to you. #RIPMima. Thank you for everything. ❤️.”
