Hello again wrestling fans, and welcome back to the Talking Smack Recap! After Friday Night Smackdown came to an end, WWE taped another episode of Talking Smack, which is hosted by Kayla Braxton, and her co-host, Paul Heyman. The guests on today’s edition of the show will be the Street Profits and Kevin Owens. Now that we’re all caught up on what’s going down, it’s time to talk some smack!
Talking Smack (6/5/21)
Kayla kicks off the show by welcoming viewers back to the ThunderDome, and introduces everyone to Paul Heyman. The set is decorated with balloons, and other various birthday related items, because Kayla has a birthday on Monday. Heyman questions why Kayla has ballons if her birthday hasn’t happened yet, and Paul goes into a rant, asking “what sense does a birthday weekend make? The very definition of the word is birth-DAY!” Kayla changes gears, and sends the show to an break.

Kevin Owens
On the other side of the break, Kevin Owens joins the show, and he says “if people want to celebrate for more than one day, that’s cool.” Owens wonders what someone like Heyman celebrates, and Paul tells him “I revel and cherish every moment that Roman Reigns star power grows.” Kayla begins the interview by asking Owens about the attack he received at the hands of Commander Azeez, and Kevin explains what happened. Owens says “if I was mad at the way people are handling things, I would be a huge hypocrite. I did alot of underhanded sh*t to alot of people. So I gotta hand it to them…” Kevin goes on to explain the “heights” Apollo Crews and Roman Reigns have reached, and he says “I get it. I deserve everything that has happened to me in the last year. It’s fine, I’ll take it.” Owens closes his comments by talking about going back on the road, and adds “the only thing that can make me feel better about leaving my family again is getting a title.” Kayla thanks Kevin for stopping by, and sends the show to another ad break.

Street Profits
After the break, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford make their way to the desk. Kayla welcomes each of them onto the show, and she’s asks where the teams head’s are at right now, ahead of next weeks match against Otis and Gable. After a brief pause, Montez says “we’re focused. We’re looking ahead of the battle… in a way.” Dawkins adds “we’re more than focused, we’re pissed off. Next week, we’re gonna shut down the academy… Otis and Gable, next week… we gonna bust your head until the white meat show.” Kayla asks about the offer Gable made, and Ford explains “you always want to listen, but then he starts going on about other things. What has the academy done for either guy?” Dawkins mocks the academy, and writes them off for “working in their hips and getting likes on social media.” Montez goes on to say “we denied it, because we’re the Street Profits. We are focused on chasing profits.” Dawkins add “Gable got mad because he knows nobody wants to join no academy!” Montez and Angelo close their comments with a joint statement to the academy, and tell them “for us to go out there and spread energy out is marvelous, it’s a blessing.” Dawkins adds “and next week, we’re gonna put in work that even the academy ain’t got a course for.” Montez wraps up the interview by saying “we live by four words every day ‘we want the smoke’.” Kayla ends the interview, and the show fades to black.
