– CM Punk, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were suspended indefinitely after the brawl that took place after All Out several weeks back and apart from two somewhat similar versions of events that came out, not much has been said as AEW’s third party investigation continues. However, over the last few days, there have been developments with Punk’s side relaying more details on the incident as well as an update on the status of The Elite.
– According to fightfulselect.com, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were expected back with AEW “imminently” and as it turns out, all three of them were backstage at Dynamite last night, the first time they have been at an AEW event since the brawl nearly two months ago. While it’s unclear when the trio will be used on camera, the fact that they are officially back obviously bodes well for their future in AEW.
– Soon after the news that The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were expected back with AEW, CM Punk’s camp revealed to Nick Hausmann of wrestlinginc.com that Punk has not been in any contact with AEW since the incident while also relaying additional details explaining his actions during the brawl. According to the report, Punk felt threatened when the Bucks kicked his door in and was only defending himself. Punk’s side also claims that his dog, Larry, was injured when the door came crashing down and accidentally hit the dog in the face, requiring two loose teeth which had to be removed by a veterinarian a few days later.
