Following last night’s taped WWE NXT, the first three matches for next Great American Bash, scheduled on July 12 are official.
Yoshiki Inamura was victorious in a #1 contender’s match and will challenge Oba Femi for the NXT World Title while the NXT Women’s North American title will also be contested with Sol Ruca defending against Izzi Dame. In a tag team match on NXT, Dame pinned the champ to get the title shot. Finally, Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe will team up to take on Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley in tag team action. Jayne and Grace will run it back in singles action the next evening for WWE’s Evolution 2 premium live event.
A TNA Slammiversary contract signing between Trick Williams, Joe Hendry and Mike Santana will also take place at The Great American Bash. That PPV is set for July 20.
