— Last week, it was reported that WWE had signed one of the greatest tag teams of the late 80s and early 90s, Demolition, to Legends Contracts allowing them to license and merchandise Ax and Smash of the team for various products including memorabilia, video games, action figures and the like. The signing came after many years of the two sides being at odds mainly stemming from various lawsuits against WWE that the two were part of. Not surprisingly, rumors have now turned to whether Demolition could be headed to the WWE Hall of Fame in a move that would be a long time coming.
— Fightfulselect.com is reporting that after signing their Legends deals, Ax and Smash have been talked about as a potential inductee into the Hall of Fame though it’s unclear if this decision has been nailed down for the class of 2025 or if it’s something that is being considered for future years. It’s also not known if the discussions to add the three-time WWE tag team champions to the Hall of Fame would include Crush, who was technically a third member near the latter parts of the team’s tenure in WWE.
