TNA opened with TNA Champion Mike Santana coming to the ring.

After the opening, Santana cut a promo in the ring. He said that beating Trick took a little too long. He said he’s got the title. The crowd chanted. “You deserve it.” He cut a promo in Spanish and said they were live in Orlando. He said it’s been a journey and when he decided to bet on himself, he knew it wasn’t going to be easy. A lot of people doubted but he believed in him and his little girl at home believed in him. When he returned to TNA, he told everyone he was coming for the top spot and the fans believed in him. The fans made their voices loud and clear. After scratching and clawing and falling, he can stand tall and say he’s the new TNA Champion.

Santana said there is a hungry roster in the back ready to kill it for the fans, because this is TNA. The crowd chanted the promotion’s name. He said he knows there’s a target on his back. Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian are co-holding the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. He’s calling out everyone else. No matter where in the world they are and what letters they represent, if they step to him, they better bring the fire he brings, or he’s going to eat them alive. He’s not just an ordinary man, he’s a loud and proud Boriqua from The Bronx.

Ryan Nemeth came out and called out Santana for talking about Nic Nemeth, his brother, when he’s not here to defend himself. He congratulated him for winning the belt in a mocking manner. Santana told him if he called him Mikey again, he would slap him. Ryan said the next TNA Champion will be Nic Nemeth. He claimed Nic’s flight was delayed. Santana asked him when he was going to stop carrying his brother’s bags and chewing on his jockstrap, because then he could come to Santana like a man. Ryan went to slap him but Santana grabbed his arm. Santana said he’s had a great 30 days and he’s going to continue that tonight by asking Santino to give him a title defense against the least deserving person on the roster, Ryan. He told Ryan he was going to destroy his entire life tonight, then he can go tell Nic that he was a scrub who didn’t get the job done.
