The episode starts off with a recap of Turning Point – the battle between Steve Maclin and Josh Alexander, the Two out of Three Falls match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship between Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace, and the main event between Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards.
KUSHIDA vs. Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven vs. Leon Slater vs. JDC – Winner receives TNA X-Division Championship Match at Final Resolution
KUSHIDA, Leon Slater, and JDC are already ringside as Trent Seven is on his way to the ring. Ace Austin gets a full entrance.
Everyone starts off hot going after each other. KUSHIDA gets a hold of Austin. Austin reverses, but KUSHIDA hits a cartwheel dropkick. Seven targets KUSHIDA and hits a DDT. Slater hops in and goes after Seven. He hits a running Big Boot and goes for a dive to the competitors on the outside, but JDC grabs him and drags him down.
Austin enters the ring and takes out JDC. Austin goes for a dive, but Seven stops him. Slater pulls Seven off of the apron and Austin hits his dive this time on Slater and Seven. Austin tosses Seven inside. While on the apron, Austin kicks KUSHIDA and JDC. Austin goes to jump onto Seven from the top rope, but Seven swats him out of the air.
Seven slams Austin. JDC enters and also targets Austin. Seven and JDC take turns taking shots at Austin. Slater is able to put a stop to the Austin targeting, but then fills in as the target of Seven and JDC. They chop and punch Slater. JDC hits a couple of running elbows in the corner. Seven goes for a suplex on Slater, but JDC tries to roll Seven up sneakily. Seven doesn’t appreciate it. Slater uses the distraction to take control.
KUSHIDA and Austin hop back into the action and go after each other, sending the others out of the ring. Austin hits the Art of Finesse on KUSHIDA for a two count. Austin goes to the top rope, but KUSHIDA slows him down. KUSHIDA jumps off the top with Austin and locks on an armbar. Slater breaks it up with the Crossover Splash. Slater hits a dive over the ring post on KUSHIDA and Austin.
Slater tosses KUSHIDA back into the ring and goes to the top rope. JDC drives Seven into the corner, knocking down Slater. Austin runs up JDC’s back and hits a Superplex on Slater. Seven breaks up Austin’s count on Slater by slamming JDC onto Austin.
Seven hits Bop and Bang on KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA hits the Tanaka Punch on Seven. KUSHIDA hits the Pele Kick on Seven. Austin takes out KUSHIDA with a kick. Slater dumps Austin to the outside and climbs to the top. JDC stops his progress briefly, but gets kicked by Slater. Slater and KUSHIDA counter a couple of moves until KUSHIDA hits Back to the Future for the win!
Winner: KUSHIDA, who will face Moose at Final Resolution for the X-Division Championship
Gia Miller is in the back with Tasha Steelz. Jordynne Grace has been the thorn in Tasha’s side for the longest time, but tonight – Steelz takes out that thorn. After that, Steelz will be making her way back to the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
A TNA+ commercial airs.
PCO & Sami Callihan vs. The Good Hands
John Skyler comes out with a microphone and says hello to everyone in South Carolina. Jason Hotch reminds him that they are in North Carolina. Skyler doesn’t care – the fans should be embarrassed either way. He then calls Sami Callihan a pig and PCO a freak. It’s time for the ham sandwiches, AKA Sami Callihan and PCO, to come out and get embarrassed.
Jason Hotch and Sami Callihan start things off. Hotch tries to run at Callihan early, but Callihan feels it and levels him. He follows that up with a big chop…and a second chop. Callihan biels Hotch out of the corner. PCO tags in.
PCO flexes off a punch from Hotch. They hit the ropes and PCO gets behind Hotch. PCO simply pushes Hotch from the back and out of the ring. Skyler and Hotch huddle and Skyler tags in. Callihan tags in.
Callihan takes down Skyler and hits the ropes. Hotch hits Callihan. Callihan turns around and levels Hotch, which allows Skyler to recover and hit Callihan from behind – taking control. Skyler slows things down and tags in Hotch. Hotch keeps Callihan on the mat. Skyler tags in and does the same with a headlock.
Callihan strikes out of it, but Skyler hits him with a knee and hits the ropes. Callihan levels Skyler. Both men are down and crawl to their corners. PCO tags in. Hotch tags in. PCO comes in hot and takes down Hotch. Skyler attacks PCO from behind and The Good Hands try to double team PCO, but PCO knocks them both down. Callihan tags in. Callihan sends PCO into Hotch in the corner. PCO holds Hotch and Callihan sends Skyler into PCO. PCO drops both of The Good Hands and they roll to the outside. With the help of Callihan, PCO hits a dive on The Good Hands. PCO throws Hotch back inside and tags Callihan. Callihan assists PCO with a Swanton Bomb for the win!
Winners: Sami Callihan and PCO
As Sami Callihan and PCO celebrate their victory, the lights go out. The entrance screens flash and show the number 23. The lights come back on and Callihan and PCO are confused.
A TNA+ commercial airs.
Nic Nemeth is in the back. He’s still at the top of TNA after a crazy 2024. First Class interrupts Nemeth. AJ Francis says that he’s in great shape, but is looking to go into 2025 about 25 pounds heavier with TNA gold.
Nemeth says that he’ll fight anywhere anytime. Francis says that all Nemeth does is fight people in The System. Nemeth hasn’t fought Francis, who would knock him out easily. Francis and Nemeth get in each other’s faces until Santino Marella enters the scene. Francis tells Marella that Nemeth wants to have a title match against him at Final Resolution. Santino Marella makes it official.
TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys vs. The System with Alisha Edwards
This is The System’s contractual rematch from when they lost the titles at Bound for Glory.
Eddie Edwards and Jeff Hardy start things off. They lock hands and Edwards kicks Jeff. Edwards hits the ropes. Jeff stands up a tackle. Jeff gets hot and takes down Edwards. He grabs Edwards’ arm and tags in Matt Hardy. Matt comes down on Edwards’ arm and takes control of the arm. Edwards rakes Matt’s eyes and tags in Brian Myers.
Myers tries to come in hot, but Matt stops him. Jeff tags in and The Hardys double team Myers. Matt tags back in and The Hardys kick Myers in the corner. Matt drives Myers’ head into the turnbuckles several times. Matt slams down Myers for a two count.
Myers rolls out of the ring and wants to take a break. Matt isn’t happy with that and goes to the outside. He throws Myers back into the ring. While on the apron, Matt gets taken down by Edwards, allowing Myers to take control inside the ring.
Myers slows things down and works over Matt’s leg. Edwards tags in and does the same. Edwards stretches Matt’s leg around the middle rope in the corner. Matt strikes out of it and knocks Myers off of the apron. Edwards slows down the comeback with a thumb to the eye. Myers tags back in.
Myers continues the attack on Matt’s leg, using the bottom rope to jump down on it. Edwards tags in and keeps Matt down on the mat with a knee to the face. Edwards drags Matt over to the corner and tags in Myers. Myers keeps Matt down and mocks Jeff’s dance.
Myers ties Matt up on the mat with a leg stretch. Matt gets up briefly, but Myers drags him back down – striking and stretching the leg more. Myers lets go and goes for the Roster Cut. Matt ducks and hits the Side Effect. Both men are down. Matt crawls and tags in Jeff. Edwards tags in.
Jeff comes in hot and takes down Edwards. He hits an Inverted Atomic Drop and then a leg drop to the nether area. He goes for a suplex on Edwards, but Myers breaks it up. The System tries to double team Jeff, but he fights it off and hits Whisper in the Wind on both men. He covers Edwards for a two count.
Edwards pushes off a Twist of Fate try. Myers comes in and hits a Spear on Jeff. Edwards covers and gets a two count. The System double team Jeff and keep Matt down on the apron. The System goes for The System Overload, but Jeff pushes out of it. The Hardys hit The Plot Twist. Jeff covers Edwards, but Myers breaks it up. Jeff throws Myers to the outside and dives off of the apron onto Myers.
The Hardys get a table from under the ring. Before they can set it up, The System goes after them. The System sets up the table, but The Hardys get control back. Just as The Hardys are about to set up for a double power move, Alisha Edwards hits both Hardys with a Kendo Stick. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners and STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions: The Hardys by Disqualification
After the disqualification, The System beat up The Hardys. They put Matt on the table. Alisha hits Jeff with the Kendo Stick. Edwards and Myers lift up Jeff and slam him down onto Matt and through the table.
Jody Threat and Dani Luna are talking in the back. Threat is complaining about losing to Ash by Elegance a couple of weeks ago. Luna says that she’ll be taking on Heather by Elegance next week and will show why Spitfire are the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
Santino Marella makes his way out to the top of the entrance. What happened in the TNA World Tag Team match was unacceptable to him. At Final Resolution, it will be The Hardys vs. The System for the TNA World Tag Team Titles in a Tables Match.
A Final Resolution commercial airs.
Sami Callihan and PCO are in the back. PCO is yelling “23.” They see Hammerstone and Jake Something. They want to know if Hammerstone and Something are 23. Hammerstone doesn’t know what they are talking about. They might not be 23, but they love to fight. Callihan says that he’ll talk to Santino Marella about fighting them.
Jordynne Grace vs. Tasha Steelz
They circle and lock up. Jordynne Grace goes behind, but Tasha Steelz is able to grab Grace’s arm. Grace reverses, but Steelz counters the counter. Grace reverses and grabs a headlock. She brings Steelz down and works her head on the mat.
Rosemary is watching from the rafters and she is shown up there throughout the match.
Back in the ring, Grace lifts Steelz, but Steelz wiggles out. Grace won’t go down on a roll up. She lifts Steelz and tosses her towards the corner. Grace slams down Steelz for a two count. Grace hits a stalling suplex for a two count.
Grace hits Steelz with a big slap to the chest in the corner. Grace lifts Steelz up on the ropes and follows her up. Steelz slips under and ties Grace up in the ropes. Steelz uses the ropes to jump up and stomp down on Grace.
Back from commercial, Steelz has control. She runs at Grace in the corner, but Grace lifts her over the ropes and to the apron. Grace goes to the second rope and tries to lift Steelz up from the apron. Steelz slips through and tries to hit a Sunset Bomb, but Grace blocks it. Steelz ends up hitting a slam on Grace off of the ropes.
Steelz grabs a chinlock, but Grace stands up and drives Steelz into the corner. Steelz breaks the chinlock, but grabs at Grace and pulls her backwards into the corner. Steelz tries to whip Grace across the ring, but Grace blocks it. Grace blocks some moves, but Steelz hits a kick.
Grace catches Steelz and tosses her over her head. As they stand up, they exchange blows in the center of the ring. Grace hits Steelz with a couple of slams. Steelz wiggles out of a third, but Grace hits a Cop Killa for a two count.
Grace lifts Steelz into a Fireman’s Carry and drives Steelz into the turnbuckles. Grace blocks a Sliced Bread #2, but can’t block it a second time. Steelz covers for a two count. Steelz kicks at Grace and hits the ropes. Grace blocks a Cutter and rolls through a Fireman’s Carry for a two count.
Grace clubs at Steelz and then hits a clothesline for a two count. Grace goes for the finish, but Alisha Edwards runs out with a Kendo Stick. With Grace distracted by Edwards, Steelz attacks Grace from behind. Grace is able to fight it off and goes for the Muscle Buster. Edwards distracts Grace again and Steelz is able to roll Grace up. She puts her legs on the ropes for leverage, which the referee doesn’t see, and gets the win!
Winner: Tasha Steelz
After the match, Tasha Steelz and Alisha Edwards beat down Jordynne Grace. Masha Slamovich comes running out and makes the save. Grace slams down Edwards as Steelz bails to the outside. Slamovich and Steelz yell at each other as Steelz walks up the entrance.
Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt talk about Final Resolution. Masha Slamovich vs. Tasha Steelz for the TNA Knockouts World Championship is official. Also official is Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin with the winner getting a TNA World Title shot at Genesis in January.
Mike Santana & Steve Maclin & Eric Young & Jonathan Gresham vs. Frankie Kazarian & Josh Alexander & The Northern Armory
Joe Hendry comes out and joins the commentary table. Frankie Kazarian has words during his entrance with Joe Hendry.
Things start off hot with all eight men going after each other. Things spill to the outside. Multiple referees come out to separate the two teams and get things under control.
With things settled down, Jonathan Gresham and Travis Williams start things off. They exchange strikes until Gresham hits a suplex. Williams tags in Josh Alexander. Gresham goes for a quick roll up. Alexander kicks out and Gresham cartwheels off. Gresham goes for an Octopus, but Judas Icarus storms in. Gresham lets go and Alexander backs off. Icarus is made legal.
Maclin tags in and levels Icarus. Maclin hits a series of short clotheslines to Icarus’ back in the corner. Maclin puts Icarus in the Tree of Woe. Williams runs in. Maclin stops him and puts him in a Tree of Woe in the opposite corner. Maclin drives his shoulder into Icarus. He tries to do the same to Williams, but Williams lifts himself up.
Maclin slips to the outside. Williams follows him out, but Maclin drops him. Maclin gets back in the ring. Kazarian is waiting for him and takes him down. Kazarian becomes legal and he slows Maclin down with a slam and some strikes. Maclin blocks a suplex and goes for a roll up. Kazarian kicks out and hits a big clothesline. Kazarian throws Maclin into the corner and taunts his opponents. With the referee distracted by Young, Santana, and Gresham trying to get into the ring, Kazarian and The Northern Armory take cheap shots at Maclin. Alexander tags in.
Alexander keeps control of Maclin and tags in Icarus. Icarus takes some shots and tags in Kazarian. Kazarian hits a clothesline and covers for a one count. Kazarian goes for the Chicken Wing, but Maclin tosses him off and tags in Gresham.
Gresham blocks a kick and goes for a roll up. Kazarian kicks out, but Gresham uses his speed to get another roll up. Kazarian kicks out. Gresham tries to continue using his speed advantage, but Kazarian finally grabs him and hits a Backstabber. Kazarian slows things down with some strikes, but Gresham starts to fight back. They exchange strikes and Gresham hits a dropkick. Eric Young tags in.
Young comes in hot. He hits a dropkick on Kazarian. He slams Alexander and goes to the top rope. Icarus runs over and tosses Young off of the top rope. Mike Santana tries to help Young, but is sent back to the apron by the referee.
Alexander tags in Kazarian. Young Flair Flips through an Irish Whip, but is pulled down on the apron by Icarus. Alexander drives down a knee on Young on the apron. The Northern Armory triple teams Young and then sends him back inside for a two count by Kazarian.
Kazarian hits a suplex on Young for a two count. Kazarian knocks Maclin off of the apron and then goes back to work on Young. Young tries to hit a quick Piledriver. Kazarian blocks and tries to hit Fade to Black. Young wiggles out. Both men hit the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Both men are down and crawling to their corners. Williams tags in. Santana tags in.
Santana comes in hot and cleans house. He has Williams and Icarus in opposite corners. He hits chops on both. He ducks under a double team and hits a Double Rolling Buck 50. He chops Icarus and tries to Spin the Block, but Alexander pulls Icarus to safety. Maclin takes down Alexander.
The Northern Armory hit Up in the Clouds on Santana. Santana double clotheslines out of another double team move and tags in Gresham. Gresham hits a series of arm drags on The Northern Armory, but they have the numbers and gain control. Kazarian tries to help by holding Gresham, but he eats an Enzuigiri by his teammate. Alexander tags in.
Alexander hits a big forearm on Gresham and covers. It’s broken up by Maclin. Young slams Kazarian. Icarus drops Young. Maclin hits a Busaiki knee on Icarus. Williams levels Maclin. Santana hits a Death Valley Driver on Williams. Alexander feels Spin the Block coming and takes out Santana. Alexander hits a Spinning Tombstone on Gresham, but Gresham kicks out of the pin at two.
Alexander goes for the C4 Spike on Gresham, but Gresham counters with a Hurricanrana. Gresham locks on the Octopus. Young, Maclin, and Santana are blocking The Northern Armory from helping Alexander. It looks like Alexander taps, but the referee is distracted by the other competitors on the outside. Kazarian comes in with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and hits Gresham with it. Alexander covers Gresham for the win!
