Don’t expect to see Tommaso Ciampa in your Twitter or Instagram inboxes anytime soon.

After coming up short in his attempt to recapture the NXT World Championship from reigning title-holder, The Undisputed ERA’s Adam Cole, Ciampa announced that he is taking a hiatus from social media.

“Time to block out the noise,” wrote Ciampa via his official Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon. “I will be taking a hiatus from social media for the time being.”

Ciampa continued, “Thank you all for your support during surgery and rehab, and for the incredible reception during my return and throughout the journey to Portland. #WeAreNXT.”
