Matt Sydal could be looking at a potential future world championship opportunity in All Elite Wrestling.
On the premiere episode of the new weekly series, AEW Dark: Elevation, which debuted on Monday evening, March 15, 2021, from Daily’s Place amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida, the boss-man of AEW made a rare on-camera appearance.
AEW President Tony Khan appeared on the inaugural installment of AEW Dark: Elevation to confront AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and inform him that he will be squaring off against Matt Sydal on the Wednesday, March 24, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT next week, and if Sydal picks up the victory in that singles contest, he will earn a future title shot against “The Cleaner.”
