Tony Khan Played An Integral Part In Putting Together The Blackjack Battle Royal At Double Or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling held their Double or Nothing PPV Event last May 28 from the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada, where AEW World Champion MJF defended his title against “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara in a 4-Way Pillars Match, Adam Cole took on “The Ocho” Chris Jericho in Singles action, The Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli) took on The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and “Hangman” Adam Page) in an Anarchy in the Arena Match and the reigning AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy defended his AEW International Championship in a Blackjack Battle Royal.

Fightful Select reports that AEW President and CEO Tony Khan was an integral part in putting together and laying out the Blackjack Battle Royal, which ended in Cassidy successfully defending his title by last eliminating Swerve Strickland. The report also mentions that the finish was determined the night before Double or Nothing and that Swerve Strickland and Orange Cassidy had a say on how the ending of the match would go. It was then mentioned that Khan was an integral part in most of the battle royals AEW has had and the AEW President even has a knack for how the matches work.
