During the match itself and after the bout, which saw Page retain the AEW Championship after he and Danielson fought to a 60-minute time-limit draw, many stars from the pro wrestling world flocked to social media to sing the praises of the two performers.

Among those who chimed in on Twitter to rave about the Page-Danielson instant classic match were AEW President Tony Khan, two-time WWE Hall of Fame legend Ric Flair, fellow WWE Hall of Fame legend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Brian Pillman Jr. of The Varsity Blondes, Wheeler Yuta of The Best Friends, AEW women’s contender “Legit” Leyla Hirsch, as well as AEW referees Bryce Remsburg and Aubrey Edwards.

Tony Khan wrote the following in his first of two tweets praising the Page-Danielson match.
