Kyle O'Reilly

Tony Khan & Several AEW Stars Comment On Kyle O’Reilly’s Surprise Debut At Dynamite: Holiday Bash

For those who haven’t heard by now, Kyle O’Reilly made his surprise AEW debut at the Dynamite: Holiday Bash special event on Wednesday night.

O’Reilly’s debut appearance saw him provide an assist for Adam Cole, leading to a victory over Orange Cassidy for The Elite member in the opening match of the Holiday Bash show.

After the match, things got even more interesting.

Cole found himself in the middle of two pairs of friends — with The Young Bucks on one side, and his former fellow members of The Undisputed ERA faction in NXT — Bobby Fish and O’Reilly — on the other. He would go on to exit the ring and head to the back with Fish and O’Reilly, while Nick and Matt Jackson remained in the ring with a look of confusion and disappointment on their faces.

Following his debut appearance, Tony Khan took to social media to confirm that O’Reilly is, in fact, “#AllElite.”

Additionally, O’Reilly’s first official AEW merchandise was released, as the company immediately began promoting a new Kyle O’Reilly t-shirt on their Shop AEW website.

During and after the show on Wednesday night, several AEW performers and personalities took to social media to comment on the AEW debut of former WWE NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly. Among them were AEW President Tony Khan, AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker, as well as Evil Uno of The Dark Order and “Legit” Leyla Hirsch.

Check out comments from Khan, Baker, Uno and Hirsch regarding O’Reilly’s first appearance in All Elite Wrestling via the tweets embedded below courtesy of their official Twitter pages.
