— Amid rumors that WWE is looking to change up their Premium Live Event structure in 2023, specifically the possibility of getting rid of Hell in a Cell and perhaps even Money in the Bank and Elimination Chamber, WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque spoke on it at the post-Survivor Series press conference.
“I think there’s a lot of feeling that Hell in a Cell is one of those things that is a giant blowoff. If you’re calling someone out at the end of something, you can challenge to Hell in a Cell. So I hear this speculation amongst fans a lot about Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank, Elimination Chamber, maybe those things should all go away. Some of those things I hear. No one is ever gonna challenge someone to Elimination Chamber with five other things or I challenge you to Money in the Bank! I feel like there’s a difference there, we have to re-evaluate all of that and look at that. It’s looking at the overall calendar and saying ‘what is the best place to put this, what is the best way to entertain our fans.’ So it’s up in the air, it’s something we think about on a regular basis.”
What does @TripleH have to say about the future of WWE PLEs? Very, very interesting….. 👀#SurvivorSeries #WarGames pic.twitter.com/3BPn9UQCK7
