After winning the brand new, re-designed NXT Cruiserweight Championship title belt from former title-holder Angel Garza at the WWE Worlds Collide: NXT vs. NXT UK live special on Saturday night, Jordan Devlin received some high-praise from The Founding-Father of NXT, Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

At tonight’s NXT versus NXT UK Worlds Collide event from Houston, Devlin defeated Angel Garza, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, and Travis Banks to become the new NXT Cruiserweight Champion, his first title won under the WWE promotional banner, and the first person to win the newly re-designed version of the belt that was unveiled in a backstage segment prior to the event (View Close-HQ Photos Of New Look NXT Cruiserweight Championship Title Belt HERE).

The Founding-Father of WWE’s black-and-gold brand took to social media to share a photo he took backstage at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with the new champion immediately after the live special wrapped up on the WWE Network.
