Triple H Comments On Shayna Baszler Losing NXT Women's Title (12/19/2019)

Triple H Teases Move To WWE Main Roster For Shayna Baszler Following Her NXT Title Loss To Rhea Ripley

Following her NXT Women’s Championship loss to Rhea Ripley on this week’s episode of NXT On USA, Shayna Baszler has been teased for a potential move to the WWE main roster by none other than WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative — Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

In addition to offering high praise to the new NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, referring to her “as the one that will lead NXT into the new year,” Triple H also commented on the end of Shayna Baszler’s impressive 600-day reign as the Queen of the WWE NXT brand.

After she came up short in her title defense against the inaugural NXT U.K. Women’s Champion, Baszler received a tweet sent directly to her from “The Father of the Black & Gold Brand,” as Triple H offered some kind words for Baszler after her reign as champion came to an end on Wednesday night’s edition of NXT On USA.

“Shayna Baszler, nearly 600 days as Champion over the last two years,” wrote Triple H. “An incredible champion who has shown the ability to bounce back from adversity.”

He added, “We have certainly not seen the end… Just the end of the beginning.”

The last part of Triple H’s tweet referring to Baszler’s NXT Women’s Championship loss just being “the end of the beginning” has many fans speculating that he is alluding to a potential move to the WWE main roster for “The Queen of Spades.”
