Trish Stratus & Charlotte Flair Continue Verbal Jabs After SmackDown LIVE

Trish Stratus & Charlotte Flair Continue Trash-Talk After SD! Live, Change Twitter Handles

As noted, WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus returned at Tuesday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown LIVE as part of a special return installment of fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler’s talk-show segment from the past, “King’s Court.”

During the promo segment on Tuesday night’s show, which aired live on the USA Network from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, as expected, Charlotte Flair confronted the Canadian WWE legend and challenged her to a match at next month’s WWE SummerSlam 2019 pay-per-view.

Stratus would go on to accept the challenge, making the match against “The Queen” official for “WWE’s biggest event of the summer,” which coincidentally enough, takes place from Stratus’ hometown of Toronto.

WWE posted the following video highlights of Jerry Lawler’s “King’s Court” segment with Trish Stratus and Charlotte Flair.

After the show, the Canadian WWE Hall Of Famer spoke with WWE.com for an exclusive interview backstage at the FedEx Forum and made it clear that “The Queen” Charlotte Flair will be facing “The Queen of Queens” at WWE SummerSlam 2019.

Additionally, Stratus updated her official Twitter page (@trishstratuscom) handle to read, “Queen of Queens.”

She also posted a tweet that included a photo of her staredown with Charlotte Flair from the “King’s Court” segment on this week’s SmackDown LIVE with a caption that read, “To be the woman, you gotta beat the woman.”

For her part, Charlotte also chimed in on social media after the show to alter her official Twitter page (@MsCharlotteWWE) handle and post a tweet of her own.

Charlotte Flair changed her Twitter handle to read, “Queen of all Eras.” She also posted a tweet that read, “Be better than your haters. Destroy all imposters. The real queen is here.”
