Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches Set For SmackDown Next Week

Two New Money In The Bank Qualifiers Set For Next Week’s SmackDown

Next week, on the May 1, 2020 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, two additional Money in the Bank qualifying matches will be held, one for the men’s division and one for the women’s division.

For the men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match next week, it will be Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler. Otis has been hoping to get his hands on Ziggler for a while now due to the repetitive trickery and the feuding that has ensued due to their common interest, Mandy Rose.

After a hacker revealed Rose’s former best friend Sonya Deville devised a plan to drive Rose into the arms of Ziggler and away from Otis, who she had planned to spend Valentine’s Day with. The plan was botched when a masked hacker revealed the plot, and Otis ultimately beat Ziggler at Wrestlemania 36 with the his crush, Mandy Rose.

The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match current qualifying members include:

– Daniel Bryan
– Rey Mysterio
– Aleister Black
– Apollo Crews
– King Corbin

Mandy Rose will likely be cheering on her new beau Otis during his qualifier match next Friday, though Rose will also need to focus her attention on her own qualifier match set for the same evening for the women’s division. Rose is set to go head-to-head with Carmella in the women’s qualifying match this Friday on SmackDown.

The Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match’s current qualifying members include:
– Asuka
– Shayna Baszler
– Dana Brooke

All the superstars that have already qualified are set to head to WWE’s Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut on May 10th for the MITB pay-per-view event.
