Two major championships will be up for grabs on WWE SmackDown this Friday, March 28.
Braun Strowman secured his spot as the number one contender this week after defeating Jacob Fatu in a match that ended in a disqualification due to interference from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. As a result, Strowman will now challenge LA Knight for the WWE United States Championship on next week’s show.
Pretty Deadly also earned a title shot on the March 7 SmackDown, and their challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship is now set for next Friday. Elton Prince and Kit Wilson will face off against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits, who recently defeated Los Garza (Angel & Berto) in a tag team match.
The March 28 SmackDown will take place at the O2 Arena in London, before the blue brand heads back to North America for the April 4 episode from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
The confirmed matches for next week’s SmackDown:
– WWE United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Braun Strowman
– WWE Tag Team Championship: The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (c) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson)
