AEW Collision

Upcoming Episode Of AEW Collision To Take Place In Unique Location

During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, AEW star and pro wrestling legend Chris Jericho discussed several topics, including an exciting event on the horizon. AEW is set to hold a live episode of Collision from Jericho’s seventh annual Rock ’N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise on Saturday, November 7. The show will air live from the Norwegian Jewel, made possible by Sixthman and AEW President Tony Khan.

Jericho mentioned that the wrestlers scheduled for Collision will already be on the ship, allowing AEW to create a significant lineup for the broadcast. The announced cruise lineup includes Kofi, Austin Creed, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Ted DiBiase, Carlito, Shotzi Blackheart, and Harley Cameron. In addition to wrestling, the cruise will feature performances by Fozzy, comedian Brad Williams, MicroMania, live podcasts, paranormal experiences, and both men’s and women’s Oceanic tournaments.

This is what Chris Jericho said, “We are, for the first time ever, doing a live episode of AEW Collision from the boat itself. Saturday, November 7th, Collision will be live from Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea. Thanks to the Norwegian Pearl. Thanks to Sixthman. Thanks to Tony Khan for facilitating this. But this is monumental. We had a dynamite that we taped. This is live. You’re gonna see the whole, I mean the biggest probably AEW roster that we’ve ever had. You have a chance to see whoever Tony books that night for Collision will be on the boat. Now they might leave later on that night, but the point is the cruise is gonna start off with an actual All-Star Collision lineup. And then we’ll have the section of AEW performers that want to stay for the whole cruise. But then we’ve got the entire rest of the roster that you already can see that have been signed up. And we’ve got the Jericho Men’s Oceanic tournament. We’ve got the Women’s Oceanic tournament for our Oceanic Championship belt that we created for the boat. We’ve got Micromania.”

Jericho also announced that this year’s cruise will pay tribute to PAC, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley. PAC, known for his time in WWE as Neville, passed away on September 27 at the age of 40. The official cause of his death is still pending further testing. He had previously participated in a Jericho cruise, where he wrestled Jon Moxley during the event. Jericho stated that this cruise will be dedicated to PAC and will feature a special tribute to help fans remember him.

“Ben was on the second cruise. He had a great match with Mox on that cruise, which I think was actually on the taped Dynamite that we had. So we’re gonna dedicate this cruise to PAC and to Ben Satterley. And, you know, obviously we did it with Jay Briscoe when he passed away, him and Mark wrestled each other on the very first Jericho cruise. So, you know, you got to pay tribute to the fallen brothers and sisters, especially the ones that came on the cruise. We’ll always, we’ll figure out something just to make sure that everybody, you know, remembers the man that was PAC.”

It was announced that the ship will be docked in Miami during the Collision event before departing for Bimini, Bahamas. The cruise will take place from November 7 to November 11. This marks the first live AEW television broadcast to be held aboard Chris Jericho’s cruise. AEW had previously filmed a taped episode of Dynamite during the event in 2020, but staging a live broadcast will require additional production efforts.
