According to a tweet by @fightoracle, Turner Sports – TBS and TNT – are going to be pitching All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to prospective advertisers at upfronts on May 15. Upfronts are how networks announce their fall season lineup to advertisers, allowing said advertisers to purchase commercial time “upfront” before the season is actually underway.
Jim Ross already went on record to confirm that AEW will run weekly two-hour shows beginning in October but in further tweets by both @fightoracle and @rajahnews, it was suggested that the show is likely to air on Tuesday evenings on TBS, perhaps even in the same timeslot that Smackdown is soon to vacate.
