Brock Lesnar’s current contract with WWE is set to expire in 2020, either in May or June.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s unclear if rumors of a jump to UFC will once again start up as the end of his WWE deal approaches, even despite UFC President Dana White going on record to state that Lesnar has retired from MMA.
The Observer notes that even with UFC out of the picture, Lesnar’s leverage may end up coming in the form of All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
If AEW TV ratings are strong from October to May, Lesnar’s leverage will be “astronomical” but if ratings aren’t as strong as expected, his leverage would be greatly reduced.
