WWE Crown Jewel Update

Update On HBK & HHH vs. Taker & Kane At WWE Crown Jewel, Trademark & Stock Notes

With all the recent rumors of WWE booking a Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Undertaker & Kane tag team match at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2, the company helped fueled more speculation with the following “fantasy warfare” poll on their Instagram page:

In addition to the other former WCW trademarks that WWE applied for in US court this week, they have also filed applications for WCW Thunder, WCW Saturday Night as well as Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE’s stock nudged higher at market close on Friday, coming in at $96.73, pushing the company’s net worth above $7.5 billion for the first time. With the stock surging, company co-President George Barrios unloaded 50,000 shares at $96.22, generating over $4.8 million for him. WWE also released a statement that Barrios will sell up to 175,000 of his remaining shares beginning November 27. They estimate that the figure will be between 90,000 and 120,000. It’s quite possible that other WWE execs will also sell a lot of their stock over the next little while, not because they are being phased out or leaving the company, but rather they are just looking to turn a huge profit while the company is flying high.
